Why Am I A Photographer?

A photographer is one that continually pursues a passion, a never-ending journey. My passion is to see and record a moment in time that will never exist again. To some, it’s the passion to photograph the human form to some the violence and injustice of society to others it's the desire to record those special moments in life (weddings, births, graduations). My passion is to record the beauty and power in nature and still life images and to take the complex and show it in its simplified and beautiful way. I want the viewer to not only see the beauty but ask the “how, why, and where” of the image. A sunrise or sunset that only God could create. The simplicity and beauty of a flower and the wonder and beauty of a landscape.

The pursuit of a passion with no end. For a photographer, at the end of the day, it’s about the journey.
